June Goals

Hey, y’all! How’s everyone doing? I want to give you a  little recap: it was the most beautiful weekend of the year this past weekend here in NYC. My boyfriend and I are dog sat my neighbor’s dachshund, Chico, and we took him to the waterfront Friday night for a late night stroll. The moon was so big and bright right next to the Empire State Building – it was such a sight to see. Saturday, I slept in and[Read more]

May Goals

How in the world is it May already?! The first half of this year has just flown by (I think I’m starting to say that about every year, though). Shout of to my sis, Meg, whose birthday is today! She’s coming to spend her birthday weekend here with me, and I can’t wait for her to get in town! I have quite the itinerary planned out for her visit. EEEK.    Let’s take a peak at the goals I[Read more]

April Goals

April, what’s up! I feel like this year is just playing one big joke on me – seriously, time is flying by. I say this every year, but the first 2 quarters of the year always go by so quickly, and then the last 2 quarters go on and on forever, it seems. I’m excited to debrief my goals from last month and to share this month’s goals! March Goals Review Wake up at 5:15am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays[Read more]

March Goals

February, where did you go? I know it’s always the shortest month, but man, did it fly by! I’m smiling to myself right now thinking about all the good things that happened this month: I got all of my flights for March-July travel booked, celebrated my birthday with friends and an open bar at one of my favorite NYU bars (I won it by putting my biz card in a drawing!), hosted my first Ed. Tech Meetup event, just to[Read more]

February Goals

Hellllo February – bye, bye January!  The first month of this new year put me through the ringer, let me tell ya. Cesar and I celebrated New Year’s Eve in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (we were looking for a low-key NYE), and 2 days after that, I got a sinus infection that lasted for like 12,342 days. Okay, maybe like 10 full days, but it felt like FOREVER. Even while sick, I did work towards my January goals, which was a feat[Read more]

January Goals

Wow! It seems like I just published my December goals, and now it’s time to share what I’m working towards during the first month of the new year! December was a whirlwind. I actually ended up getting sick the DAY that I flew home. In spite of my sickness, I did have a nice holiday and spent so much quality time with my family, which was a goal of mine for December. Let’s take a peek again at what I[Read more]

December Goals

Twenty days. There are only 20 days left in 2016 – such craziness. Having been unemployed for 4 months of this year, I don’t know where this time went, but it sure did fly by. While giving thanks before eating Thanksgiving dinner, I mentioned how grateful I am for struggle. It’s amazing what growth happens when you are pushed or put in an uncomfortable situation, and man oh man, was that the case this year. I’m so happy to say[Read more]

100 Life Goals For The Next 10 Years

I recently experienced a huge life change (getting laid off from my full-time job), I felt like it was important to take a step back and evaluate my life. Who am I? What am I doing? What do I want to be doing with my life? How do I get there? All of these questions led me to create a list of 100 life goals I’d like to accomplish in the next 10 years. Some of these goals will be[Read more]
