Hey, hey, hey – happy Monday! Hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter weekend. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I hosted Easter brunch at our place with four of our friends, and then he surprised everyone with an adult (and one dog included) Easter egg hunt! It was so much fun. Afterwards, we drove to Bear Mountain in New York and hiked the lake trail; it was the most gorgeous afternoon, absolutely perfect weather to be outside. We were soo hungry after the hike that we ended up eating burgers at Shake Shack in the Woodbury Commons Outlets – the best outlet shopping center I’ve ever seen, period. Dangerous to the wallet. Must use caution, lol. All in all, it was a perfect day.
Now, for today’s post! Do you remember having to go out and buy a physical CD for like $12 or $13 to listen to your favorite song (and hoping the other songs on the album were just as good)?! In high school, my friends and I would make playlists and burn them to CDs and would just cruise around town listening to our favorite music for hourrrs. Ahh, the good ‘ole days.
Nowadays, I’m sure teenagers still cruise around in their cars with their friends, BUT! Not they have Spotify for their music playlists. I love Spotify so much and listen to music on there every single day. Whether I’m listening to Spotify during my hour commute to work, when I’m working on a project in my pod next to my colleagues, while I walk around at lunchtime, or again on my commute home after work, Spotify is almost always running on my phone.
Today I’m sharing 3 of my favorite playlists to listen to while I’m working. Note: I don’t listen to music that is too catchy because my mind will start to focus on the song lyrics and then I lose focus on my work! Light music that you’d hear in a coffeeshop is my preferred genre of music while I’m working.
