10 Non-Techy Things To Do On The National Day of Unplugging

 

Technology. Oh, how I have a love/hate relationship with thee. Of course, technology is incredibly helpful and has revolutionized the way people communicate, learn, do business, etc. In addition, it’s also completely changed the way people live and behave. Nowadays, people get so consumed by their cell phones and apps that they forget to interact with other people around them. I’m so thankful that I grew up without a cell phone (didn’t have one until high school) and know what it was like before cell phones ruled the world.

This Friday, March 3rd is the National Day of Unplugging. I’m going to challenge each and every one of you reading this post to enjoy doing something non-techy that day, to really unplug from the black hole of the internet. I have some ideas to help you decide what to do!

10 Non-Techy Things To Do To Unplug:

  1. Read a book
  2. Take a long walk
  3. Write in a journal
  4. Go to a yoga class
  5. Host a game night
  6. Soak in a bubble bath
  7. Catch up with a friend over dinner
  8. Find and go through old pictures
  9. Make an old family recipe for dinner
  10. Finish a home DIY/crafting project you’ve been wanting to finish
